<p>&nbsp;- Collaborates with news director and reporters to convert radio scripts to&nbsp;web&nbsp; text,&nbsp;curate&nbsp;corresponding photos and links for each and post them <a href="http://stlpublicradio.org/">online</a> using a content&nbsp;management system. Sometimes serves as photojournalist for <a href="http://www.publicbroadcasting.net/kwmu/news.newsmain/article/0/0/1707471/news/Swan.song.for.Ernie.Hays">feature pieces</a> as requested. Builds out topic-specific "<a href="http://kwmustlouis.wordpress.com/">mini-sites</a>" using Wordpress and curates the content for those sites.</p>
<p>- Worked on the logistics of a new site launch in the Core Publisher pilot program with NPR Digital Services. This process included testing of the new site, attending weekly webinars and collaborative calls regarding site mechanics and editorial processes, and training of reporters on how to post stories using the new platform.</p>
<p>- Operates&nbsp;primary <a href="http://twitter.com/stlpublicradio">Twitter </a>and <a href="http://www.facebook.com/stlpublicradio">Facebook</a> accounts for the radio station. Also provides consultation to the operators of other station&nbsp;social media accounts&nbsp;and social media training to other radio station personnel. Also uses social media to tip reporters of possible story leads.</p>
<p>- Implements social media and engagement campaigns for the radio station to increase the value of our role as members of the St. Louis community.</p>
